Lisa May is the featured artist in May and June.
The featured artist at the Dorset Library during May and June will be Lisa May. All works are for sale, with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit the library.
Lisa May has a BFA from Parsons School of Design and has studied under Robert Carston PSA as well. She is drawn to the medium of pastel for its richness and depth of color. It has a texture and flexibility well suited for the impressionist images that she is inspired by. She Finds Vermont to be an endless source of inspiration. Lisa participates in exhibitions and shows throughout Vermont and New England, and is also available to work on commission. More of her work can be seen on lisamayart.com.
